This week we venture to far-flung Hong Kong, where Romereoesque zombies gather some local flair in Bio-Zombie (1998)…
…and then to far-flung Kansas City, Missouri, where Todd Sheets does what he does best* in Zombie Bloodbath 2: Rage of the Undead (1995).
*Possibly the cruelest thing I’ve ever said.

I’m not one to be correcting typos, but your first sentence in the Zombie Bloodbath 2 review refers to Toss Sheets.
Actually, I’m not even sure that’s a typo.

I figure if you’re going to sacrifice your fact-checking and proofreading credibility, you might as well do it on the first line.

Proofing credibility? What is that?
And like I said, I think “Toss” is the more accurate spelling. And the sad thing is, so many of us know how terrible Tod Sheets films are. And still we keep going back. At least I do. I mean, jeez, I’m thinking about watching Zombie Massacre 3 as I type! How many times must I stick my hand in the fire before I learn how much it burns???

The movie made about 6 million HK dollars. That’s generally not considered to be very good (I was under the impression that “pretty good” starts about 20 million HKD), but depending on how much the movie was made for, it might’ve made a tidy profit.

I enjoyed Bio-Zombie, but for one reason or another, I’ve never gotten around to watching the “not exactly a sequel,” Bio Cops. What’s the word on that one?

Some people think its pretty good, most reviews I’ve read range from disappointing to downright awful.

Oh, I get it… you’re talking about Bio-Zombie. Meanwhile, here I was, going, “What?!?! A Tod Sheets movie made $6 million in Hong Kong?! What in the hell is the world coming to?”

I did that too, and luckily figured out what he meant before I had an aneurysm.
Bio Zombie is a fun one, although it could’ve spent less time on their less-than-exciting adventures in the mall before the zombies start doing their thing.
We ended up calling one of our circle “Crazy Bee” because he looked exactly like that character’s white twin. Even had a similar hair style.
Another guy wanted to be called “Woody Invincible.”
We don’t like to talk about that.

I don’t regret my lack of specificity, as I’ve laughed several times because of El Santo’s reaction.
