In addition to my contribution to Stingathon ’09, I also offer you:
Giant from the Unknown (1958), in which a huge, freeze-dried conquistador emerges from his three-century slumber in the woods of Southern California, and we all wonder why the World Wrestling Federation never thought of that…
The Honeymoon Killers (1969), in which a pissed-at-the-world fat girl and her Spanish gigolo boyfriend make a killing, both figuratively and literally, from a mail-order matchmaking service…
and…
Witchcraft VIII: Salem’s Ghost (1996), in which a good horror franchise is nowhere near as hard to keep down as a torturously terrible one.

Eight down in the Witchcraft series, five to go. God, I can’t imagine the pain you’re putting yourself through with this series, El Santo. We should get you some sort of medal or something.

Dear Perry Mason the old T.C. message board endured Every Single One of Steven Segal’s DTV action movies in the our name. Santo keeps putting himself through Witchcraft movies and Nathan /just keeps on watching/ screeners of serial-killer video-diaries that people send him. I thought Clive Barker and Nikattsu roman-porno films had taught more than I ever needed to know about learning to love punishment, and being betrayed by your own senses until you can’t distinguish between pleasure and pain, but you people…..gosh.

Hell, I’ve been putting myself through cheesy action movies over at The Agony Booth for the better part of two years. Though to be fair, I only tackle ones I can glean a certain level of entertainment from so I do give myself a lifeline.
