Wow, this is one of the only reviews of “Uncle Sam” that I’ve read in which the reviewer didn’t hate the movie so much that the review ended up not being super short because he/she couldn’t muster up the energy to write anything meaningful about it.

Unlike Keith, I don’t think it was worse than Jack Frost. But yeah, it had its share of problems.

But anyone whose seen Masters of Horror knows that undead soldiers would vote against the war, except Universal Soldiers who just like blowing shit up real good.

Someone, right now, is writing an Uncle Sam Jack Frost cross-over.
I will say that i liked the Uncle Sam stilt guy, just because those guys were an dd source of obsessed amusement for me and some friends in college, and I liked the sack race bullies. I like any bullies that have chosen some really random, bizarre thing to bully people over — like pinewood derbies or handkerchief tying.
Both of those movies were ones I revisited occasionally, thinking that maybe the satire, parody, whatever, in them will finally make them salvageable. Eventually, I just gave up, and the new bane of my existence that I cannot stop watching are crappy Japanese splatter-comedy-action films.
