If you are looking for cinematic insanity, Mad Mission 3 (a.k.a. ACES GO PLACES 3) is just what the doctor ordered, especially since this insanity happens to be extremely entertaining with its mix of bizarre comedy with some outrageous action.

I’ve been collecting Hong Kong movies since 1997 and to be honest, I’ve never seen or watched any of the Mad Mission/Aces Go Places films. I plan on remedying that in the near future, however.
My wife and I were having a similar conversation the other day about popular art/culture that makes money versus that which doesn’t and usually depends on government support. In her case, it’s dance. There’s money in shaking your bottom on Tik Tok. There are limited government funds for contemporary dance, which often looks like someone in the last stages of zombification trying to fight like Jet Li.
