It takes more than the flu to put me down. Hell, it takes more than a brain stem stroke. Which means that a chunky wanna-be Max Schreck wandering around Romania trying to be the Angel of Death in Talisman (1998), yet another late ’90’s Full Moon production, really doesn’t send me screaming, you know? That’s because what hasn’t killed me has made me stronger. So there.

“I can’t help but imagine what this movie would have been like if it had been made ten or twenty years earlier by Italians.”
You know, I find myself saying that about a lot of direct-to-video horror movies made during the second half of the 90’s.

Great to see you and the Head back in action, Mr. Shumate.

Actually, it’s just a good question for any movie. That, and “How much better would this be with ninjas?”

Welcome back, Nathan!
And that screenshot…all I can think of would be, “Your suffering will be legendary, even in Hell! Nyuk nyuk nyuk!”
