The poster promises an unstoppable motorcycle-hurling monster, cops clutching their useless submachine guns, and buxom beauties screaming in terror at a hairy beast that “breeds with anything.” As great as all that sounds, it’s not the movie that I watched. Not even close.
Lesson learned:
Sometimes the best part of a movie is the poster.

Good stuff, Andrew. First time I heard about this movie was when I stumbled across Roger Ebert’s review in one of his movie guides.
I can vouch for the “Sometimes the best part of a movie is the poster” thing. It can also be modified to VHS box, DVD cover, scathing review following the release. Lots of things, really.

Well now this review has given me the image of a movie about a Ron Jeremy rampage. It has both the potental for great horror, and the potental to be a great horror.

Not quite the same thing, but “One-Eyed Monster” (2008) is about a certain part of Ron Jeremy detaching and going on a murderous rampage.
The poster is great! I wish that more modern films would use cover art that was hand drawn or painted by an artist. All of these cheapo Photoshop jobs are depressing.

The most recent one I can think of was for this really good Bigfoot (What an amazing coincidence, eh?) flick called Abominable.

You know, Siffy played that and Yeti last night but I forgot until it was too late to catch them this time.
Actually they played Sasquatch Mountain too.
Kind of eerie, considering the Roundtable.
