Well! I really hoped to have a new review done by now, but circumstances (and technology) intervened.
But I do have a Resurrected Review for you! And of a really old review, so that’s kind of like a new review, right??

What else? Oh, yeah, a couple more silent films—

I think it was your old reviews where I first learned about the Lone Wolf and Cub series. Which is a bit surprising in hindsight as there is no science in them.

Lots of weird stuff, though, and increasingly so as the series goes on.

“Ogami Ito” is a great name to say. Especially when a bad guy snarls it. The head of the Yagyu in particular has an amazing rendition of it, where his eyes bug out and he spits every syllable.
The actor for Daigoro is amazing, especially in the later movies when he has more to do.

Well, that and everyone else calling them mad. I love how self-fulfilling that is. “The narrow-minded fools! They called me mad! Well, I’ll show them…that they’re absolutely right!”
