Sure, we all love a good werewolf film; but why should wolves have all the fun? Besides, let’s face it, when it comes to the beasts within—it’s a jungle in there…
So join us as we take a look at a few of the other rampaging alter-egos hidden behind the unconvincing façade of Homo sapiens:

It’s WERE-WHAT?—all through November (and likely December) at the B-Masters’ Blog.

Why do I have the feeling Lyzzy will resurrect her piece for The Wasp Woman and/or review The Beast Within? I feel fairly certain about one of those, at any rate.
I believe I’m forgetting a lot of were-whatsit movies, so there will probably be a lot of surprises in store for me this month.

There you go with that mind-reading trick again…
One out of the two, anyway; and I’ve left a VERY BIG HINT elsewhere as to what the new material will be.
And of course it’s a perfect opportunity to copy over the Jilla-Jalla Jellyfish…

Careful, Rog—the Rev will come after you with a meat-cleaver, if you do that sort of thing…

Lyzzy continues to discover that her wish for a man who understands her was apparently made with a monkey’s paw…
Why does everyone still think I hate that song? That particular bugaboo was cured years ago. I’m certain I’ve told that story here, at AYCYAS!, and/or at Jabootu. Believe me, Ken HATES that he can no longer torment me with it every time we have a get-together. I’m tempted to upload a file of me singing the damn thing just to put this to rest!
Besides, I don’t even own a meat cleaver.
Anyway, I hadn’t considered Sting of Death since you all reviewed it, but it would indeed be a candidate for transfer. I noticed you put up two resurrected reviews recently; I haven’t had a chance to reread them yet, but as your VERY BIG HINT may lurk in one of them, I better make time!

Well, if I have interpreted your hint correctly, I at first found myself wondering how you hadn’t reviewed it by now…but thinking of the ending, I may know why. I guess we’ll see!

If “Altered States” counts, we’ll probably see it as one of the movies here.

It hasn’t so far been mentioned in dispatches but that certainly doesn’t rule it out.

By searching for the keyword “were,” I got IMDB to offer these films:
Black Sheep (2006) weresheep
Bunny the Killer Thing (2015) wererabbit
Junoon (1992) werejaguar
Mutator (1989) werecat
Spring (2014) wereoctopus
I’m not sure how promising these candidates are, but FWIW. 🙂

The only one I’ve seen is Black Sheep, but it’s very, very good.

I STILL haven’t seen that. I really have no excuse.
I’ve heard of Bunny the Killer Thing and Spring, but the only one I’ve seen is Mutator. It’s got its moments, but overall isn’t particularly memorable. I could see Keith B. reviewing it, or possibly El Santo.

Spring is an awesome film. Although the creature isn’t so much a were-octopus as it’s a were-everything.
