The third part of our year-long anniversary presents an opportunity that some of us are sorely in need of…
This time around, the Roundtable will be focused on those films that we always meant to get around to…that surely by now we should have gotten around to…that were THE ENTIRE REASON we founded our sites in the first place…
…but you know…it’s been a pretty hectic twenty years:
Please join us throughout August for Part 3 of our 20th anniversary celebration!

For a minute I was thinking you’d already done this, but that was for movies you hadn’t seen, whereas this is movies you just haven’t reviewed (although I guess it could be because you haven’t seen them).
I feel like there are one or two I’ve expressed surprised about concerning a lack of review from you, my dear, but I’m not recalling them at the moment. (There are a couple I’d like to see you review, but that’s more selfish; they’re probably not science-y enough, but it’d give me a chance to blab about them with you, and we know how much I love that.)
Here’s hoping for high participation; I’d love to see what movies were heavy inspiration for your sites that you didn’t get to.

It’s really about that twenty-year-long phase of saying to yourself, “I am definitely going to get to that film this week…”
My personal problem here is picking only two films out of an absurdly long list (particularly since in one case I’ve put aside more obvious choices for what is effectively a burr in my saddle-blanket). But at least it’s forced me to consider those others and might have a sooner-rather-than-later side-effect.
(I can think of one film I *know* you want me to do but I won’t remind you ‘cos I’m not gunna…)
