As it is, Dermot looks to have very long hair, Danny has lightened up way too much, and poor Mira is apparently a space craft (or missile, or something).
Really, the author of Rain Man wrote this? That’s very disappointing.

There are two separate things that go on with posters:
(1) Most important in text is on the left; most important in graphics is the largest central image.
(2) Generally the priority of text credits is determined by contract (e.g. Marlon Brando getting top billing on Superman because he was the biggest name), while the graphic design of the poster usually favours the most significant character. (But see also things like a DVD cover for the re-release of a film in which an actor who would later become famous had a small early part.)
