While the subject matter of Dog Soldiers – highly trained soldiers encountering a relentless pack of werewolves – may sound howlingly bad and predictable, I can happily report that the end results are done with a good amount of smarts as well as a number of thrills and chills. And topped off by some effective black humor. This is one B movie that without doubt should have crossed into the mainstream.
