Hey, gang – some housekeeping to be going on with.
I have:
– slightly revised, re-formatted and tried to fix the screenshots for She (1911)
– slightly revised and fixed the screenshots* for À La Conquête Du Pôle (1912)
– re-formatted Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde (1912)
– re-formatted Dr Jekyll And Mr Hyde (1913)
.
(*You can see the monster much better now!)

Thanks to TCM I caught À La Conquête Du Pôle a year or so ago. The sequence with the giant was one of the greatest things I’ve ever seen, and I love that giant marionette with a large portion of my heart.
Since I’m quite certain you were the first person to bring it to my attention…well, I know all too well that I haven’t told you lately that I adore you, so…yeah.

Yes, I was pleased to find a better print, because that monster deserves to be seen in all his glory.
I can hardly blame you for a drop-off in worship given the concommitant drop-off in posting, sigh… (I’m working on it! Honest!)

Sweetie, you work on it at whatever speed you need to. Whether you update as regularly as Keith B. or as rarely as Ken (who, to be fair, has his reasons), and whether I express it as often as I should or fall slack in doing so, my affection for you will remain.
Whether you want it or not. 😉
