Thanks to TCM I have seen a few Marion Davies movies, both silent and sound. She did have talent, and she was very pretty, and certainly didn’t deserve all the contempt heaped on her. I think people confuse her with the character in CITIZEN KANE. Orson Welles didn’t do her any favours.
