Where Time Began

There is a definite pleasing nostalgic feeling to Where Time Began (a.k.a. THE FABULOUS JOURNEY TO THE CENTER OF THE EARTH) at times, but it won’t be enough for many viewers to completely carry the movie in this day and age.

This film wasn’t that bad. It’s more faithful to the source material than the 1959 film was, with three exceptions:

1. Including the girl — just to not make it a sausage fest;
2. something that was “the vogue” in the mid-1970s;
3. one throwaway element of pure WTF???

But it was pretty fun.
