I found it most interesting that when I went to your review, the ad at the bottom was ‘Critical Race Theory: how to oppose and defeat it”
Good review, btw.

Thank you for your comments. I have no say or control regarding what advertisements the robots at Google AdSense decide to throw onto my website. It can be anything from Internet providers to “40 PHOTOS OF RAQUEL WELCH!”

Why do I not remember this movie? It came out the same year I graduated from high school. Maybe that’s why. Busy time. But anyway – what classic early 70s can you get? James Earl Jones, Script by Serling, Burgess Meredith, William Windom (one of the Murder She Wrote fellas), politically and socially outspoken… I’ll stop now. Great review,

“I should also add that Serling also seems reluctant to show what the reaction of Americans, or people of other countries, to the first African-American.”
Alas, it’s my understanding that, by 1972, Serling’s political firebrand days were kind of behind him. 😐
“Maybe whosever “The Man” when it comes to the movie’s ownership doesn’t want it rereleased for whatever reason.”
Sounds like a conspiracy…
